Madame Noël and the Dissidents

Novel Description

Madame Noël finds her place in the readers’ consciousness when as a young girl, she deviates from her mother’s dress-making career path to choose her own as an embroidery artist. Upon the demise of her husband, Nelaton, the brilliant journalist who opposed the government’s brutal policies, she worked full-time at creating exceptional pieces, which she sold at the open market enough to feed her two children, Gabrielle and Georges. Her luck changed when she was discovered by Emmanuelle, a wealthy art dealer who introduced her to prominent art collectors. She had now become a prosperous artist, giving her time to educate her children and indoctrinate the young idlers who became the Dissidents to pursue her husband’s dream to liberate the country from an oppressive regime.
